I've never read a novel that has small letters and over 500 pages in 2 days. As a matter of fact, I don't remember ever reading or finishing a book of this size. This book was amazingly interesting. I guess not having TV is a good thing. The movie is coming out soon, I think i'm going to go and see it. If it's anything like the book, its going to be awesome.
I decided, to pick up reading. So today, I went and picked up another novel. One by Micheal Chichton called Timeline. I like the idea of time travel. Then after the first few chapters, I realized that i've already seen the movie. I remember the movie cause Paul Walker was in it and I liked the movie that he was in previously, Fast and Furious. I don't think i'll finish reading this one.
Last weekend, we found a nice place to hike. Ivinghoe Beacon is only 10 minutes from us. We hike a nice trail up to the highest peak. There was a flock of sheep grazing the land. I tried to take a picture of them, but they would always move away from me. Then I had one that was staring at me and I stared back. We had a staring contest going there for a while.
Two weekends ago, my Canadian friend took us to Tring Park. It's nothing like a park, I think they just call it a park. The park is huge and the trail is endless. A bunch of cows seems to live there. When we walk close to them, they walk away. They don't mind having humans around, just not close up.

Hi Olivia! Your story makes me glad that my aunt does my taxes for me. Some people have the worst luck with dealing with tax stuff, loan stuff, etc. I guess I'm just lucky - I've never had a problem... yet.
Glad you liked DaVinci Code. The movie comes out this weekend, but I won't go see it until the weekend after. The novel/movie has stirred up so much debate over here, Catholic groups are especially mad. But seriously, are these ppl stupid?
Dan Brown does not claim that the whole storyline about Jesus having a family is true... I mean you buy the book in the FICTION section of the bookstore!
LOL taxes are fun aren't they?
Sigh, Canadian taxes are a pain in the ass when you have all sorts of T-forms all over the place.
As for anything religion related... you will find that there are people who are very sensitive about anything that deviates from what they have come to know and believe. For some - the religion is their life - and they feel entitled to defend it.
Well, they are entitled to defend it, yes. However, they're going about it the wrong way. By denouncing the book they have actually validated it. It's like the movie "Enemy of the State" with Will Smith. It portrays a bad view of the NSA, but it's still just a story. If the government got up and banned it from every theatre in America and told people they would be arrested if they were caught with copies of the movie, people would think "Hey! There MUST be something true in this that the government doesn't want us to know about!"
Chir, I'd love to take a look at your wicked book list! =)
Hey i finally started reading the book on the weekend! I just know I wont read the book if I watch the movie first, and i heard the book is a lot better than the movie. Anyways it's quite good so far. The words are not as difficult as i initially thought. Dont know why i found the words hard when i first skimmed thru it. Maybe just cuz I was on the plane and was too tired. The vocabs used are not difficult at all.
Anyways, i better finish it quick so i can go see the movie. :D
