We drove about 2 hours to Fussen, Germany and walked around the town for a bit before going to Schloss Neuschwanstein. Schloss = Palace. This palace looks amazing. There were so many people there that day,so we had to wait 1.5 hours before our tour began. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to wander around the inside of the palace, guided tours only. The palace was half way up the mountain.
The hike up to the palace was steep but it took us only 15-20 minutes. Since we had to wait 1.5 hrs for our tour, we decided to hike to this bridge (Marienbrucke). This is a view of the bridge from outside of the palace ground. Looks far eh? But looks are deceiving, it didn't take very long to get there. I think it was less than 10 minutes away.
